LAPCOM RX, data acquisition system for motor racing
Racing engines generate huge ignition pulses that cause strong noise resulting in errors with electronic measuring equipment. Formula racing cars and motorbikes expose such equipment to this noise. So for accurate data collection, advanced levels of technical knowhow and experience of dustproof, waterproof and electronic devices is essential.

We are active in motor racing and support racing teams to develop more advanced data acquisition technology.

LAPCOM VX, data logging and telemetry system for motor racing
We have developed a highly advanced data logging system which provides racing data such as Lap Times, Speed, Engine RPM, G-Force, Steering, Throttle, Temperature, Pressure, Voltage and Course Mapping. Most of this data can be monitored on a display by the driver, and logged into the control unit for up to 90 minutes.

We have also developed a telemetry system which sends all real-time datato a PC screen in the pit during races using a cellular phone, data transceiver or portable satellite phone.

Approval was granted for this system to receive a subsidy for technological improvement by the Japanese International Trade and Industry Ministry and Ehime Prefecture on November 30, 1995, under Clause 3, Article 4 of the Special Action for small and medium enterprises' creative business activity promotion. In 1997, this system was used by the NTT DoCoMo team for telecommunication tests in the Japan Touring Car Championship.

Lapcom RX
Data acquisition system for motor racing
"LAPCOM" is a high quality computerized automatic timing system with a transmitter and an optical sensor. LAPCOM records such data as lap times, best lap time, engine rpm, etc, to help you get the most from your machine. A small display mounted on the steering wheel shows the latest lap time, current rpm and temperature to give the driver quick feedback on his/her driving.

Before Lapcom, drivers didn't know their lap times unless the pit crew measured the lap times with stop watches and recorded them on a board. This data was always 1 lap behind.

With Lapcom, drivers are enable to see for themselves their lap times and other data during races. Lapcom RX systems have been used not only in Japan but also in Europe, Australia and elsewhere.

Meteorological data monitoring system
RWICS is a system that supports the remote monitoring of various meteorological and marine conditions.

With our software, RWICS Terminal for windows 95/98 and the telemetry system with a cellular phone, data transceiver or portable satellite phone, remote simulation and analysis of data is possible.

ELV Q-CALL
24-hour elevator monitoring system
In an emergency, Q-CALL sends the problem analysis and information to a monitoring center over phone lines. It also enables communication with people in the elevator.
